I use Hangouts along with my Google Voice number as my main phone number for voice calls and texts so I noticed this immediately. When I get a call or make a call from Gmail's interface, the other side could not hear me at all. I opened the Chrome's console and found out that whenever the option (Prevent WebRTC from leaking local IP addresses) is on, it churns out errors.

uBlock just turns on the browser setting which prevent local IP address leak -- it's a convenience (there is currently no UI in the browser to toggle that setting). If this interferes with a browser feature you want to use, you will have to not turn on the browser setting which prevent local IP address leak.
