The Panel JSON editor is an superb feature. Unfortunately whilst it works just great for a panel on the first row of a dashboard, if you scroll down to see a row and then edit a panel from it, all of part of the JSON editor is hidden out of view at the top of the page -- and you cannot scroll to it. For rows quite far down the page the impression is of a complete hang of the application, because all that is visible are the bottom edges of the Update and Close buttons, and not obviously so at that either.

This is on grafana-1.8.0-rc1 / Chrome 37.0.2062.122 (Official Build 281580) / Mac OS X

Thanks for reporting this. It seems to only happen in Firefox for me. Firefox is stupid, when Grafana hides the scrollbars you cant scroll (you can in Chrome). The reason I hide the scrollbars is when the edit pane below the menu pushes the dashboard down the scrollbars can appear and push the layout, which is ugly.

I solved this with a temp fix, now when you edit a row or panel json you get scrolled to top.
