bridge casing not rendered on highway=construction

I understand this was supposed to have been taken care of by an earlier commit, but these bridges are not currently rendering. Looking through roads.mss, I can't see anywhere where bridges would be rendered for highway=construction (or highway=proposed for that matter, which would also be useful).

Thanks, I misunderstood your report. I thought that you meant that the road with a bridge tag does not shop up at all, while you meant that the black casing of the bridge is missing (i.e., it is not clear that the road is a bridge).

Do people think it would be desirable to render bridges under construction as a bridge (i.e., with black casing)? Perhaps it might look like only the surface of the bridge is under construction, rather than the entire bridge.

Yes, even here it is not obvious whatever that it is a bridge or a tunnel. Moreover in some places there will be difference between bridge over something and intersection.

It should also be in mind that osm carto does render the black casing of a bridge with railway=construction, but not with highway=construction. The rendering is inconsequent, because if you argue with math1985s point, it could also be that it would look like only the railway track is under construction and not the entire bridge. But I think that's not a so convincingly argument. I just wanted to show that the black bridge rendering is possible im OSM carto with some *way=construction.
