NOTE: Automatic upgrades will NOT work for this release if you have a version prior to 1.1.0. You will have to download the release from Github and install it manually. This is due to the code signing certificate change made in 1.1.0.

Changes

  • The resources section of the home/overview table now displays values in ms/kb instead of percentage values.
  • Cold and Watch wallet modes are now hidden during the import process unless "Advanced Options" is enabled in the settings.
  • The tools section will now hide tools that are unavailable in your current mode.
  • Added loading animation to some of the refresh buttons to indicate activity happening.

Bug Fixes

  • Automatically load balances from REX and Delegated pools to add to total balance on the home screen.
  • Fixed an issue with the Resources section where accounts would be incorrectly labeled as having low CPU/NET.
  • Resolved an issue where signing requests were not clearing properly after being completed.
  • Bug fix for broadcasting signed transactions from cold wallets.
  • Included the code for the automatic wallet locking that was inadvertently disabled.

New Features

  • In-app Transaction Fees are now available and leverage Fuel. If you perform an action from within Anchor and do not have sufficient CPU, NET, or RAM - you will now be prompted to either pay a fee to proceed or instructed to go manage your own resources. This is available for EOS, Jungle3, Telos, and WAX.
  • An option to always prompt fees has been added to both the notice that a fee is required as well as a new option in the Settings panel.
  • The Resources section has been redesigned to now display all values in their units instead of staked tokens. CPU will be measured in milliseconds (ms) and NET will be measured in kilobytes (kb).
  • Renting uses PowerUp now by default, REX rentals can still be found by expanding the various sections. If the Rent via PowerUp button doesn't appear for you immediately, try restarting Anchor.
  • When renting resources through either PowerUp or REX, you are now prompted to enter the ms or kb values of how much you'd like to rent. A price estimate will be displayed letting you know the cost.
  • Both Fuel and DelphiOracle feeds are now available for WAX.

Changes

  • The signing request prompt will now appear on whichever monitor/display you triggered the request from.
  • Altered how account data is loaded to improve app performance. Only the system token is loaded by default now and controls have been added to load other tokens. This drastistically reduces the number of API calls required which would slow down the application for many users.
  • A new "Advanced Options" toggle is available in settings. We will begin hiding more advanced user interfaces behind this option to reduce the complexity of some of our interfaces (Import to start with).
  • On the account overview, the "Last updated" information has been moved from the last column to the first (hover over the clock icon).
  • The signing request prompt will no longer block signing transactions that are expired. It will continue to warn, and in most cases will cause an error, but they will submit now.
  • The Key Management area now allows the searching and removal of keys.
  • The Key Validator section under tools will now warn you if the checksum (last few characters of a key) are incorrect. This prevents some accounts from being found and will be a good place to check if that's the reason imports are failing.
  • Some minor changes to the initial setup process to simplify it more.

Bug Fixes

  • The wallet section will no longer sit around and wait for your account to load and will now instead immediately refresh that data.
  • Fixed an issue where editing a blockchain would not save changes (like changing the system token symbol).
  • Removed the NaN values from price feeds while they are still loading and now instead show a clock icon.
  • Fixed an issue with tokens that have 0 precision.
  • Resolved an issue where signing requests would display "blockchain not configured" if the chain was setup but no accounts were loaded.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the Smart Contract tool working properly with watch wallets.
  • When importing an account with multiple authorities using Automatic Detect, the selected key should now be correct.

Changes

  • Fixed reconnection issues occurring for some users between Anchor and external applications.
  • Added usage information to the Tools -> Link Service page showing creation and last used data for external application sessions.
  • Added an index selector to the Tools -> Ledger page to allow viewing and verifying additional public keys from Ledger devices.
  • Fixed an issue with multi-chain requests where some disabled chains were prioritized when loading a signing request.
  • Fixed an ABI caching issue that was causing the first action on a contract to fail.
  • Fixed an error that would trigger sometimes when closing Anchor.
  • Windows: Added a "Exit Anchor" option to the "File" menu, and changed the "Close" button to "Close Window". Choosing the exit option will completely close Anchor, where as choosing close will just close the open window leaving Anchor running in the background.
  • FIO: Added token transfer fee information to the Transfer page and altered the "send maximum" function to automatically deduct the required fee.
  • Cold Wallets: When loading an unsigned transaction file, the data will be unpacked to show the user what they are signing.
  • Watch Wallets: When loading a signed transaction file, the data will be unpacked to show the user what they are broadcasting.
  • Watch Wallets: Added a lock to prevent more than one "Save File" dialog from appearing at once.

Changes

  • Users who take advantage of Ledger hardware wallets can now enable and use Fuel! A big thanks to @tarassh for helping us resolve tarassh/eos-ledger#13, which was preventing this combination of technologies from working together.
  • The Signing Request prompt has some minor layout changes, specifically in regards to Fuel, free transactions, and the upcoming pay-per-transaction methods we will be introducing in the future.
  • We have enabled blockchain-agnostic identity requests as defined in the ESR Specification Rev. 3. This will allow applications to take advantage of this new feature and let users login with any EOSIO-based chain they have defined.
  • The Settings panel (the gear icon in the upper right) has been organized to make managing application settings easier.
  • A new setting for "Refresh Rate" has been added to the Settings panel, allowing users to control the rate at which Anchor will retrieve account data updates from the blockchain. Slower computers can set a slower rate, alleviating performance issues in wallets with many accounts.
  • When a user cancels a Signing Request prompt, it now relays a cancel callback back to the application to let it know the request has will not be completed.
  • Fixed an issue with WAX RAM purchases.
