This fixes more
SurfaceVertexduplication issues that were discovered using the enhanced cycle validation code, which is also included in this pull request. This enhanced validation code was made possible thanks to the advancements of #1021.More enhancements to the cycle validation code are possible, but those currently trigger more test failures.
