Flatpak packaging #2588

I'm interested in packaging this as a Flatpak for easier distribution across distros.

Some of the benefits of creating a Flatpak and hosting on Flathub include:

A single flatpak can be installed on several distros without changes (due to runtime system)
Sandboxing so the users can trust that misbehaving apps don't wreak havoc on the system
Flathub is the main source of apps for Discover on Steam Deck, meaning more visibility.
