Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to look at objects like the digipick? I found it with the archive viewer but only see nodes no mesh. This was the same for the Turret too which has a mesh listed but I don't see it in the viewport. I think I am doing it wrong hah! Thanks in advance! |

Hey. I would like to thank the team for the development of NifSkope. Really appreciated! I am here to ask about a issue I'm having with the weights. For some reason, some of the bones have some sort of corruption. First I though blender was messing up with the FBX export where I noticed the issue in 3DS Max, but it appears that the data is corrupted in blender as well, and it looks like this: Not all bones are affected. This could be a blender issue (I have 3.5.0), so it might be a problem on my end. I'm sorry for posting this here, I know the discord channel is better suited for this, however the invites are invalid for me as well. |

Does this work with Xbox and PlayStation versions If i have all the files on pc or does it only work on PC versions? I have an Xbox dev kit for testing and I'm working with Blender and UE 5 making my own game but i really want to make a few mods for starfield just not sure how to rip assets out once the game has been finalized. this is the only app I've seen so far. If you have a way to do it let me know! |

I'm quite certain this comment will likely not be seen for quite some time but it does make me hopeful considering there is a team continuously working on NifSkope. With that said, at least to my knowledge, some things have been dropped in the name of modernity. I would love for the modern version of NifSkope to be able to support the older game Star Trek Bridge Commander. There is no issue with the viewing and editing some features of a Bridge Commander model which is Nif 3.1 (and I believe Nif 3.0 for really old models). But according to some modern day modders of the game, the modern versions of NifSkope breaks models if fiddling with certain features. I'd have to discuss the matter more with them to get a clearer picture of what is broken exactly. I do know that working with Alpha nodes though, breaks a 3.1 model even though 3.1 does support animations and alpha nodes for transparent pieces of mesh. If I could get a comment or two on the matter and have it addressed that would be great. No pressure. After all we're all here to help each and improve games with a little love and little labor. |

Please read the updated README_GLTF.
If you have exported anything skinned you should re-export them. (See next item for details)
