Implementing an option to use Logisim Evolution's UI

This is my most stupid idea ever.
My idea is implementing Logisim Evolution's UI, controls, etc.
Basically adding the option to make everything look like Logisim evolution but keeping the algorithm for the extremely fast gates.
Reason: There are many ex-logisim evolution users who would like run faster circuits and be able to use the Verilog component (I'm one of those people)
I love digital but I'm struggling with the different controls

Most users are students who use either one or the other tool and are not even aware of the other. Therefore, such a customization would be a lot of work, but would only benefit a very small group of users. In addition, I don't particularly like the old Logisum UI. That's why I implemented a different one. And that's also why I'm not particularly motivated to implement the old UI.
And I probably wouldn't even merge a pull-request, as it only makes the software unnecessarily more complex.
It would be easier to increase the performance of Logisim-Evolition.
