install from source including third party libraries

• Clone https://github.com/GEOSX/GEOSX.git
  • git submodule update --init --recursive may not download hdf5_interface, blt, PAMELA, LvARRAY, PVTPackage
  • Download them manually (check the exact tag number) and unpack at each folder
• Clone https://github.com/GEOSX/thirdPartyLibs.git
• Will need to install github lfs per OS-wise
• git submodule update --init
• TPL first
  • Individual setting of TPL is not recommended
  • cd thirdPartyLibs
  • Configure MPI environment for CC, CXX, mpicc, mpicxx. Or set ./host-config/myPC.cmake for compiler wise. Also add MKL_ROOT
    • To disable caliper and doxygen, use SET(ENABLE_CALIPER OFF CACHE BOOL ""); SET(ENABLE_DOXYGEN OFF CACHE BOOL ""); SET(GEOSXTPL_ENABLE_DOXYGEN OFF CACHE BOOL "")
  • `python3 scripts/config-build.py --hostconfig=./host-config/myPC.cmake --buildtype=Release --installPath=/opt/share/geosx/TPL -DNUM_PROC=20
  • cd build-myPC-release
  • make # don't use -j option. This may take ~hr
• geosx
  • Edit hostconfig/myG.cmake. Include TPL.cmake. Setup MKL_ROOT or BLAS. Update CC or mpicc, mpicxx
  • python3 scripts/config-build.py --hostconfig=./host-config/myG.cmake --buildtype=Release --installPath=/opt/share/geosx/G
  • make -j 20
  • make install
