Now that Star Ocean has been fixed with @unknownbrackets clever stencil tricks, does anyone still have any use for these hacks?

I've never had a benefit of using it (Android and Windows)

I've never seen any speed improvements nor other improvements from them, with neither my Tegra 2 tablet, nor my desktop PC.

These two are not for speed, they're just very specific game workarounds.

I think Stencil only ever helped Star Ocean so that one should be completely obsolete now.

Well, a super long time ago it helped FF4 also I think. Anyway, we've largely solved most stencil issues by now.

Hence why I said "nor other improvements". Anyway, I'd say give this about 24-48 hours for people to reply, perhaps?

Disable stencil test helps this one.

Since we've only received one reply with one game that it helps, I think it's safe to kill the Stencil option, and try to resolve the issue that #5278 has. Opinions?

There is also #6265

I think so. IIRC it's either a mixed fb format issue or a rgb bitmasking issue or something...
