Hi @tfmoraes and @paulojamorim, PyNetDicom already has the pythonic implementation for DICOM networking protocol, right?

All the services mentioned in the reference doc is available.

Is it advisable to implement the PyNetDicom library here to communicate with the DICOM server?

Hi @geeythree

I didn't know the library PyNetDicom. The only concern is adding one more dependency to the project. It seems to me that the GDCM is more mature.
