Progress: 2A USGS Rapid Deployment Gages

Successes

  • Identify, download and process USGS rapid deployment data from Hurricane Irene (2011)
  • Extract and display Water level data from USGS gages (Figure 1)
  • An inline interactive map interface displays the gage locations and hurricane track line (Figure 2)
  • Calculate and display some basic maximum information (Figure 3, Figure 4)
