Suggestion of enhancement - Menu in Edit Model

I don't know if this is feasible, but my feeling is that it would be easier and quicker to navigate in the Edit model if the menu for selecting objects (or a simplified version of it) would always be there - instead of selecting an object, then clicking back on Model, and selecting another object.

For instance something like that:

Just a side note: you can have the pages open on multiple browser tabs/windows at the same time. One of them could e.g. show units, another nodes, third the Results page. This may help a bit with having to navigate back and forth.
