The ISLE Interest Group consists of ISLE Maintainers, beta testers, and interested members of the community.
There are now two version of ISLE:
- ISLE 7 is an Islandora Collaboration Group project.
- ISLE 8 is an Islandora Foundation project.
This group is currently on hiatus until a co-convenor can be found for ISLE 8 work and additionally group attendance increases.
- Please note that ISLE 7 security updates will continue until November 2022.
- Name: ISLE Interest Group
- Purpose: The ISLE Interest Group consists of ISLE Maintainers, beta testers, and interested members of the community. This IG meets to share development and documentation goals and progress, track issues, guide and command 'markdown.extension.onEnterKey' not foundlearn from new test cases, and assess the strategic vision of the project’s future.
- Goals & Tasks:
- Guide new installations and test cases
- Gather community-supplied knowledge base around specific use cases
- Encourage community development around new features and improvements
- Spread communication re: new releases, patches, and security updates
- Gather issues raised in meeting and create/update Github issues
- Assess existing PRs
- Goals: Dockerize Islandora 8; Maintain ISLE for Islandora 7

- Subscribe to the Islandora Google group for updates, meeting announcements, and technical support
- Convener solicits agenda items and ensures the meeting takes place, roles for note taking and issue tracking are assigned, and the Google group and Github page are updated after meetings
- Note taker is assigned on a rotating basis and adds notes beneath agenda items
- Issue tracker creates/updates Github issues for relevant issues raised in meetings
