Developer Workstations

Computers Provided by the Company

For developer workstations, we usually provide a MacBook. The typical configuration is Apple M1 or Intel Core i7, with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.

We regularly update our computer inventory, which gives you the opportunity to buy used equipment with a transparent history, including perhaps the computer you've already worked on.

BYOD

You can work on your personal computer if its characteristics are at least comparable to the standard configuration above. If the performance is noticeably worse, we strongly recommend you upgrade.

If you prefer to work on your personal computer, we will reimburse you for up to 50% of its purchase or upgrade, see Additional Cash Compensation for details.

Software Licenses

If you need a license for any paid software to run (e.g. PyCharm) or access to paid services for development (e.g. BrowserStack), please contact Olga and she will arrange everything.

Important Addition - CO2 Detector

We recommend that you have a CO2 detector in your workplace. Search the internet and you can easily find many articles showing how high concentrations of carbon dioxide negatively impact mental well-being and productivity. This risk is particularly high in winter, when windows are usually closed.

If you decide to purchase a CO2 detector (at home, in a co-work, or in the office), we will reimburse you for up to 50% of its value within the compensation package.
