@samgermain I've been thinking the same thing since I've only been writing in TypeScript recently.

Do you all use TypeScript on a daily basis?
If it's a library, I'll write it in TypeScript, but this is Gatsby's Starter, so I'm not sure which is more friendly.

I've thought about keeping the branches separate, but it seems like a lot of maintenance costs.
