Proposal: django-two-factor-auth #180
Comments
Hey @Bouke! Would you like to remain the maintainer for the project(s)? All projects require at least one maintainer. I personally think they are a good fit for Jazzband and I have been using both projects myself. The projects have a good infrastructure and I think they could benefit from a joint contribution model. |
Seems that @moggers87 has been the most active maintainer recently, interested to continue? |
I could remain on as maintainer for some time, but my goal would be to let others take over that role. With @moggers87 as continuing as maintainer; should I start the transfer of the project? |
The transfer to jazzband is currently blocked by #196. |
There's also a transifex project linked with my personal account. How should we go about that, as I believe the options for shared ownership with jazzband isn't possible at this moment? |
@claudep @moggers87 The heroku hosted example page (http://example-two-factor-auth.herokuapp.com) is still linked with my account. I can either remove the application (who needs a demo anyway) or transfer it to you. What would you like to do? |
It would be nice to keep the demo app running, but it's not been updated in ages (I have access, but not had the time). Probably best to pull the plug on it and update the docs. We (me and/or Claude) can always deploy our own later if we change our minds. |
👍 to what Matt said |
Thanks, I've removed the app 👍. |
The project django-two-factor-auth is looking for a new owner, and I think Jazzband will be a good fit for the project. I'd be interested to hear whether the feeling is mutual, and we can start working on the transfer.
