Having both :string_context and string_context_c serves no syntactical purpose and harms maintainability of the grammar.

This issue tracks tracks what needs to happen to excise :string_context_c

  • :string_context needs to support single quote character literals
  • :string_context_c needs to be replaced with :string_context everywhere it is used
  • duplicate :string_contexts need to be eliminated.
