Text-to-Speech App

This is a simple text-to-speech application built using Python and two libraries: Tkinter for the graphical user interface and pyttsx3 for the text-to-speech functionality. It allows users to input text and have it converted into speech, which is then played back audibly.

Requirements

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/jmugambwa1/Text-to-speech.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd Text-to-speech
    
  3. Install dependencies:

    pip install -r requirements.txt
    

Usage

  1. Run the following command:

    python main.py
    
  2. The text-to-speech app GUI will open.

  3. Enter the text you want to convert to speech in the input field.

  4. Click the "Speak" button to generate and play the speech audio.
