How to properly setup Google Consent Mode V2

Hello, I have some questions related to Consent Mode.

• Do I have to activate anything on the Analytics page?
• Do I have to activate anything on the Google Tag Manager page?
• Since I am using a third-party cookie manager, It is a bit difficult for me to access to nuxt functions. So, would it be enough to activate the consent mode using the following code:

      // Setup up consent mode

        ad_user_data: 'denied',
        ad_personalization: 'denied',
        ad_storage: 'denied',
        analytics_storage: 'denied',

    ]

Or if I do not grant permission ("granted") after user accepts cookies I will lose a lot of data?
I am only using Analytics, not ads or anything related.
