  • use the Boot metrics apis
  • plugin to the audit framework
  • tie in CraSHd
  • tie in New Relic?

This needs to be expanded into more concrete issues, but for now this will serve as a 'umbrella' issue.

Im not sure what the demo is here.

I suppose we could try pulling the plug on one of our nodes, or the DB, and watching as New Relic notifies us of what's happening by consulting the health endpoint and then notifying us.

Whatever we do with these notifications is up to us. coffee, anyone? :)
