Slider should allow vertical orientation #6912

It seems that the mobile version of the Slider doesn't allow for the slider to be vertical but the jQuery version does. There are quite a view others wanting this behaviour - one implemented it but on an old version of jQM.

Thank you for the suggestion. however our current slider is going to be re-written very soon actually both the jquery ui-and mobile ones will be and we will be sharing a single slider widget. So we will not be adding any new features to the current widget. Closing as a feature request.

Do you have any ETA on that? Is it in a branch or just not been written yet?
