How to unarchive the package on CRAN

• Check things are now ok with the API.

• In case of error, return NULL+WARNING instead of error?

• Remove the retries.

• Make the whole test suite dependent on having an internet connection?

• Not sure what to do about tests that could fail in presence of internet, i.e. how does one make a test fail gracefully when the API suddenly returns errors like it did in February?!
