As this project seems to enter a more permanent phase, I would like to put it on more solid grounds.
I see one problem is, that the desperation the current system of MIQ creates can hardly be compensated by the little spare time the current maintainers have to spend on the project. (as been mentioned here before)
Are you interested in working on the project more permanently and like to support the team?
Roles I can think of are:
support / forum moderator
maintainer / code reviewer
tester
Tasks:
help people and answer questions
maintain/improve code
review pull requests
implement new features
Do you guys think this will be helpful? Also are there any other steps that you think would help the project and people, apart from code changes? Like opening Github discussion?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'm crossing my fingers that after the current pause, the allocation site will relaunch with some sort of lottery or priority system that makes constant refreshing (and hence this tool) unnecessary. But if we are left with the system as it was, I'm happy to help level the playing field for everyone by providing some support for this tool (within the constraints set by MIAS' terms of service ... for instance refreshing seems permitted, but automatically answering a recaptcha seems like a step too far). My coding skills are best suited for small tweaks, testing, and validation of proposed patches, but I don't have the time or skillset to make major changes. I can also generate macos binaries of releases if that is needed or helpful. Finally, I would be happy to help people out as they raise issues, but since the underlying problem is the lack of available vouchers there is only so much that any of us can do.
