Questions from talk at rstudio::global:

  • what kinds of "final projects" do your learners take away with at the end of your workshop?
  • How important would you say it is that learners work on projects that are very similar to the work they do on a day-to-day basis?
  • A lot of lessons in data science, either online or in person, focuses on coding. However there is little available on project set up basics. Any recommendations?
  • Do you think Cheatsheets are useful documentation formats to help novices or trained UseRs?
  • often novices who I informally teach have v challenging tasks they want to automate with R - how can I best support them without just doing it for them?
