I noticed that Forte only allowed unsynced lyrics from Genius; I was wondering if additional options could be added? Here are some possible sources
NetEase (synced lyrics)
Musixmatch (synced lyrics)
azlyrics (unsynced)
Also in the same vain, support for checking embedded tags or local files for synced or unsynced lyrics?
By local files I mean a .lrc or .txt file in the same directory as a song with the name of the song file, .lrc for synced .txt for unsynced. For example,
I would love this feature. As soon as I noticed Forte on r/selfhosted, i started to thinking about switch from Plex to Forte. Looks really solid but not overwhelming.
Seems quite nice. I can add support for embedded lyrics and also local lyric files. But I think synced lyrics can be a bit problematic because I couldn't find any free services to use.
Musixmatch seems quite nice and Spotify also uses it but they are not free and their free plan is only "limited to 2K lyrics views per day" and it gives only "Access to 30% of lyrics per song".
