Proposal

Would like to be able to scale on metrics gather from Newrelic data and queried using NewRelic Query Lang (NRQL)

New Relic is an observability platform that helps you build better software. (copied verbatim from their website)

Scaler Source

metrics stored in newrelic and queried using NRQL

Scaling Mechanics

Scale based on the result of a single float value returned by the NRQL query

Authentication Source

Authentication must be done using NewRelic API Keys from Secrets or Env
