Kubeflow Summit, October 2019

Thea Lamkin edited this page Oct 28, 2019 · 9 revisions

Kubeflow Summit is dedicated to bringing together the users and builders of the leading OSS project for machine learning on Kubernetes. This time we've broken the program into two separate days: Day 1 will focus on the user, with presentations from Kubeflow experts and hands-on workshops. Day 2 is dedicated to our Kubeflow Contributor Summit, a chance for project maintainers and contributors to collaborate in person. Find details for both events below.

Location: Google Building MP1, 1155 Borregas Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

Day 1, October 28: Kubeflow Summit

Join us at Kubeflow Summit to learn best practices for managing end-to-end machine learning workflows from training all the way to deployment.

We'll look at data science use cases for Kubeflow, the devops challenges those present, and some of the cutting-edge tools evolving in the Kubeflow ecosystem to address them.

Topics we expect to cover: Kubeflow in on-prem and hybrid environments; ML pipelines and metadata management; model training, validation and serving, automating and scaling ML deployments; hands-on Kubeflow training; reference architectures; hyperparameter tuning; Kubeflow in the enterprise.

Event FAQ

How much does it cost to attend?

Both Kubeflow Summit and the Kubeflow Contributor Summit are free to attend.

Are there recommended hotels to stay in the area?

We have arranged a room block at the Hilton Santa Clara for a limited number of people. Book your room here.

Will there be event parking?

The Google offices offer parking, but carpooling or rideshares are encouraged if possible. If you are staying at the Hilton Santa Clara, we are arranging a shuttle from the hotel to MP1.

This event overlaps with Tensorflow World. Was that intentional?

Yes! To enable users and contributors traveling internationally or cross-country to attend both events, we scheduled Kubeflow Summit to coincide with Tensorflow World. For those interested in advanced Kubeflow topics as well as TFX and Tensorflow, Kubeflow Summit will be a great complement to the TF World program. To that end, all Kubeflow Summit registrants will receive 20% off their Tensorflow World passes.

Code of Conduct

All speakers, attendees, and event staff are expected to abide by the Kubeflow Project Code of Conduct at Kubeflow Summit and any related events.
