It would be very useful to have a way to launch also GCP TCP Proxy LB directly Kubernetes. Currently there are only options to launch GCP Network LBs (Load Balancer and GCP HTTP(S) LBs (ingress).

There is currently way is to do it manually configuring Nginx ingress controller, but it will be a more user friendly option to be able to create it directly from k8s.

is there a way to do this without nginx ingress controller?

Closing. We cannot support this for Ingress due to API limitations. The Gateway API has the capability and we will look to support this feature there.
