Any discussions relevant to the science in the laboratory of Dr. Keith R. Walley at the University of British Columbia/Centre for Heart Lung Innovation @ St. Paul's Hospital. Wet lab (flow cytometry, clinical lpid measurements, etc.), dry lab (test and performance/accuracy statistics reporting based on frequentist and Bayesian analyses e.g. causal inference via fine-mapping +/or Mendelian randomization +/or genetic colocalization +/or other statistical genetics approaches, straight-up GWAS via GLM adjusting for relatedness and population substructure/stratification with PLINK2/REGENIE/SAIGE/MAGMA/MAGMA-GENE, eQTL analysis incorporating GTEx and other tissue-specialized high N expression data, and many others), or any other type of science that helps us better understand the pathophysiology and treatment of sepsis and its associated organ dysfunction, short- and long-term, we love to learn more. |
