Please provide information requested in the template below as much as possible.

Describe the bug

The meta-data server is available over http://169.254.169.24/ but the documentation does not point out that

this is only for a local network instance
not for a switch network instance
not for a app-direct network

This should be documented - either in the API description and/or the EVE description of the service.
