This meta-issue aims to consolidate and track various severe controller configuration issues across different platforms and distribution methods for RetroArch that makes it unstable. Addressing these issues will improve the process of configuring and uploading autoconfig files to the retroarch-joypad-autoconfig repository.
IMPORTANT
These issues are extremely important to fix, because they cause people to upload incorrect autoconfig files.
(Input) Proper analog trigger support RetroArch#6920 -- "Settings -> Input -> RetroPad Binds -> Port 1 Controls -> Save Controller Profile" does not save "input_l2_axis" and "input_r2_axis" for L2/R2 analog triggers (pressure sensitive buttons). This affects PlayStation 2 controllers and later for example.
