I would need a clarification for the usage of datatype for xkos:ExplanatoryNote. In the Best Practices document https://linked-statistics.github.io/xkos/xkos-best-practices.html#bp-notes-structure, the recommended datatype for rdf:value is set up as rdf:XMLLiteral. It seems this is the datatype for XML notes.
Would you recommend to use the type rdf:HTML for HTML notes?

Yes probably. We could indicate that the expected range for rdf:value is "xsd:string or rdf:HTML or rdf:XMLLiteral"
