The game runs fine on Boxer (64-Bit fork) on my Mac. I didn't manage to launch it at all on RetroArch. iDOS2 to the rescue, so I purchased it for my iPad Air 2 (yes, that's a little dated).
I mounted the game ISO and ran the installer, that all went fine, but screen transitions in the installer were already very slow. This continues in the game menu, not sure which strange effect the game uses. The intro runs pretty smooth, the scrolling text and the following animation, probably already in game engine, including the dialogue. No problem!

Sadly when starting the game and the two bodies lie in the alley nothing happens. There should be a woman passing by, but nothing. Total freeze.

Not sure if individual game issues justify an issue, but in general it runs with DOSBox!

I need to take that back... Although all of the above is in fact true, I got the "Standard Performance" ISO (DE) from archive.org and it works on my iPad and iPhone and not only my Mac. Transitions are still painfully slow, but maybe you can just close this issue if you don't care to look into it.
