Is it possible to map key chords to menu items?

I don't really know how to phrase so sorry for the bad title. In my config I have multiple mappings that are two keys so that they're easier to remember (e.g. 'rn' -> rename, 'af' -> code actions), but the first key in the chord isn't used for anything else. Because of that, I'd like for the whole key chord to show up in the main menu instead of as a submenu. If I map the first character to something else, then it shows up fine (see screenshot) but I can't find a way to get it to show up like that w/o mapping the first character. Setting 'rn' as an item in my config causes an error when I try to use it from the menu.
