Hi Ladislav!

Thanks for developing this.
I was trying to see how to install it but I didn't even find a how to in sublime's docs.
It would be great to do add it in a readme here.

If you tell me how-to I send you a PR

For sublime text 2, just clone the repository in ~/.config/sublime-text-2/Packages/User and relaunch Sublime. "Smalltalk" will appear in languages you can choose.

Might be similar for sublime text 3.

So how do you install this in Sublime-Text 3? I did read the link above but was confused.

I tried to save 'Smalltalk.JSON-tmLanguage' into C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3\Packages folder, but Smalltalk does not appear in the list of valid syntaxes. All the other files in this folder are .sublime-package files and not .JSON-tmlLanguage so that might also be a problem.

How do I get it to work?

Hi, sorry for my lack of response - I somehow missed on notifications.

Syntax should be working with Sublime Text 3 too, look here for built tmLanguage file https://github.com/lm/sublime-smalltalk-syntax/releases, download and put it into C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 3\Packages\Smalltalk or similar in other OSs, after that there should be available syntax with name Smalltalk.

@lm For Sublime 3 copying the Smalltalk.tmLanguage file in the Packages/ where all the *.sublime-package files are is not making this work .

This discussion seems related:

Excellent. The advice from lm worked for me in Sublime-Text 3.

Please note for anyone reading this that one really has to download the file from the releases tab (from the url: https://github.com/lm/sublime-smalltalk-syntax/releases), not the source code tab which is the latest source code branch.

The correct file you are looking for is called:
/Smalltalk.tmlLanguage
and not
Smalltalk.JSON-tmLanguage

The file is saved here: C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 3\Packages\Smalltalk.
Could be good to update the Readme.md with this info.

I converted to ST3 if anyone interested: https://github.com/DJviolin/sublime-smalltalk
