I noticed that the new line gradient support only supports GeoJSON sources (mapbox/mapbox-gl-js#6303) is there any plan to extend this feature to work with regular Polylines on Android and iOS?

My application requires adding polylines in real time, so unfortunately a GeoJSON source isn't appropriate.
