[BUG] Edition loading from Open Library only works with gimmick

Describe the bug
When adding a book from OpenLibrary, in the "Choose edition" menu, new editions, after the first few are loaded, only load when I scroll up two rows from the bottom, at least.

To Reproduce

• Click the + icon
• Choose the "Search in Open Library" option
• Search for a book, preferably one with many editions
• Click the "Choose Edition" button
• Wait for the first editions to load
• Scroll to the bottom to look for the one you want
• Nothing loads
• Scroll up two rows
• The editions load

Expected behavior
The loading should happen automatically, without this gimmick

• App version: 2.7
• App source: F-Droid
• Manufacturer and model: Motorola One
• OS and version: Android 10

Additional context
If #558 was added, this wouldn't be an issue
When I don't scroll to the bottom to look for an edition, they keep loading correctly.
