A lot of buttons just don't do anything.

Maybe I have a fundemental lack of understanding as to how this program works, but if I highlight an item in my tree and click edit, it tends to do nothing. Mind you I tried this before and after inserting paths to Atom and Photoshop Elements 11 into my preferred editors.

Also sometimes the other buttons don't work like the PROJ checkbox or selecting PROJECT from the "assign source" menu.

This is running on Windows 10 64 bit, not sure but I think it's using the latest Java 1.8 jdk.

I really can't reproduce this. I've tested a lot of different buttons incuding assign source and everything works as expected. I too use Windows 10 64 bits with java 1.8. I guess your using the latest version, right? Also check if you are using java 1.8. That's all I can say now but I'll see what I can do. Also thanks for creating a bug report as it's always helpful.
