Data sharing transparency
Data sharing transparency feature enables transparency on data being shared accross organization. In the data sharing process two sides are present:
- dprovider - providing certain data product
- consumer - consumer for provided data product
In typical self service mode users can create provider part of data sharing information containing generic information about data being provided and restrictions for their usage:
Provider part is divided in:
- generic information about data product & contact info for data product
- description and classification of data
- information about PII (Personal Identifyable Information) included in dataset
- information about possibility to process data outside of the originating country
- specification of insider relevant data and deletion requirements
After finalizing provider part, user has a possibility to, clicking on "Finalize & forward" button:
- directly assign this data information to consumer - who will be informed via notification and email and can enter consumer part of documentation
- leave provider data unassigned and just get a link that can be provided to consumer in personal email
- leave provider data unassigned and just let consumer to find data provider info ans starts consumer part manually
With Share icon it is possible to copy link to this data sharing in clipboard and with copy icon you can create a copy of provider part of data sharing. Down part of tile of each data sharing contains arrows indicating if provider or consumer part of the flow is finalized (arrow becomes blue):
- provider is still working:
- provider has finished flow and sent to consumer:
- provider and consumer have finished flow and contract between them is finalized:
After consumer of the data is getting flow to himself he needs to add information:
- information about consumer and intendent purpose for usage
- how will handling of personal data be handled from consumer side
After entering information and finalizing contract with provider, status is finalized.
