WSL2 Causes weird issues every time I open an image editor while WSL2 is running #8478

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22000.708]

WSL Version

  • WSL 2
  • WSL 1

Kernel Version

Kernel version: 5.10.102.1

Distro Version

Debian 10.x

Other Software

GIMP, Photoshop, MSPaint

Repro Steps

Open any of the software and wait a few minutes before things start going haywire.

Expected Behavior

No weird pulsating.

Actual Behavior

Every window and input starts becoming active and inactive. Using your PC becomes impossible.

This only started happening after one of the recent windows updates.
