How to keep test explorer position after python extension refreshes test discovery

Howdy,

I think with the new 2024 python extension update, the test discovery refreshes on every save of the file. When I am writing test cases in python, every save causes a new test discovery to run.
Unfortunately, the position in the test explorer on the left hand bar does not keep and defaults to the top of the tree which is very annoying. I have to keep right clicking a test case and selecting Reveal in Test Explorer everytime I change focus.
I use save on focus change and I am really used to that. I rather not change that setting.

Is there a way to make the position in the test explorer tree stick after a test discovery? From what I remember before 2024, it used to do this.
