The default shortcut for the terminal pane (Ctrl+backtick) doesn't work when the Microsoft Japanese IME is active. It does absolutely nothing, no matter where the focus is and whatnot. I'm not aware that is is a shortcut for the IME itself, but if so, it should probably be worked around in some fashion then.
I'm using a totally normal US keyboard, but I don't think this should matter. Can't hurt to mention though.
It works fine on UK and US-international input, or, I guess, most alphabetic-ish languages.
