Please erase all the credentials files and important information like spreadsheet ids from the repo, as by using those bank details of all the students can be easily accessed.

Also, clean out the important credentials details from the commit history as well for ex - .env can be viewed via commit 0b20616
You guys can follow this article https://algerwrites.medium.com/how-to-remove-env-from-git-commit-history-1d594917b376 for the same.

But till all the credential files are removed and cleaned from the repo, I highly recommend you guys to make this repo private.
