Error applying icons

When the extension is installed, it goes from 0.0.14 to 0.0.15, when I establish the files/folder as symbols it gives me that error.

@eliasdrm can you also include your reproduction steps? What are you trying to do? Provide sample code if you’re trying to use the file association. It’s unclear how this error is appearing as I’ve not seen it before.

Ok, what happened was that by mistake I uninstalled the extension, I reinstalled and the latest version (0.0.15) was installed, and when I want to put it in vscode as file icons it doesn't work.

Video example.

I was also experiencing the same issue. What solved it for me was manually installing an older version of the extension, followed by updating it again and restarting VSCode. However, I still have no clue what was causing it; perhaps corrupted files??

To install an older version, access this option in the Extension dropdown menu.

Hope this can help someone

I think this might be a VS Code problem so I created an upstream ticket to see if we can get more information as this appears to happen when the system is in other languages microsoft/vscode#203823
