upto version suneditor v2.44.0 and suneditor-react 3.3.2 katex equation was editable but in latest version it is not editable. And this is due to suneditor-react and not due to suneditor because this feature is still working in standalone sunedtor in latest version

Looks like maintainer is no longer interested in this awesome project.... We all are stuck now. Can anyone suggest alternate Free library with maths support? This is the only feature stopping me to use other options...
