Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There are lot of security fix for high severity CVE from both libexpat and zlib libraries in the newer versions. But fmilibrary still uses 2.5.0 of libexpat and zlib of version 1.2.13.

Describe the solution you'd like
In general, if these libraries are dynamically linked, then we can simply upgrade the expat and zlib libraries on the system without rebuilding fmi-library. Now it is difficult.

Describe alternatives you've considered
