I wanted to give it a try, and did

../cm3-dist-AMD64_LINUX-d5.11.4/scripts/concierge.py install --prefix $HOME/.local/

and it started with

rm -Rf /home/user/.local

which is an insane (to say the least) usage experience. A prefix is a prefix, it should not be touched except for adding thing (having that prefixed path).
