In a quick test i noticed that SSA/ASS support seem to only support custom position data? I cant get color/font or any other styling to work. If i use the system caption settings, they just fully override the style and handle ssa/ass as text + postion's only?

So what features are implemented atm?

The SSA support is quite limited: google/ExoPlayer#8435 The styling applies only if the system captioning settings is turned off (as merging styles can result in poorly readable text due to the fact that only PrimaryColour and the border color).

mhh it was off by default, but subs looked all like basic styling, wrong font/color/size....
