How do I animate sequences using LayoutCamera from framer-motion-3d with useAnimate?

I've attempted to use various methods of getting the camera to animate sequences. However the only pattern that has worked is the useAnimationControls pattern. It would make my life a whole lot easier if I could figure out how to use the useAnimate hook to animate since it seems the useAnimationControls is deprecated. I'm not sure if the component just has not be updated to work with the new hook or I'm just doing something incorrectly. Is anyone familiar with animating the LayoutCamera?
